Vintage bags anyone?

I’ve mentioned one of my favourite places to spend time in before, 20th Century Antiques and Collectibles, in Coolangatta Queensland. Due to my uncertain employment status, at the start of this year, we didn’t get to holiday there this year. Boo hoo. But now I have more work, I’m looking forward to going next year. For now however, I’ll just visit through my photographs, with you. Here are a few vintage bags that caught my eye.

Retro shopping perhaps? Note the use of playing card as price tag, very clever I thought.

  1. The retro shopping bag is my favorite, and the idea of a playing card for a price tag is genius. I hope you get a chance to visit there soon. I have to say I was a little disappointed, when I saw the title of your post I was sure you had made bags to put in your shop. πŸ™‚

  2. sweet bags! love the gold sparkly one. I have quite a few myself, and now i’m wondering why i never actually use any of them. if they’re vintage, i guess i could sell them on etsy (so thank you for leading me to that idea!) The cards are very catchy.
