What is it about op shopping(or thrifting) that gets my heart beating in anticipation? Is it an inbuilt gathering instinct? I love poking around old, discarded objects, never being sure what treasure might be unearthed.
Of course often, I find nothing. That’s okay, it just makes it all the more satisfying when something does jump out at me.
Today, I hit the jackpot. My breath caught when I spied this whimsical owl cup complete with lid(or perhaps it is a sugar bowl?). I especially love it’s tail poking out of the back, how surprising!
How cute. I will now have one eye open for owl related treasures for you on my expeditions.
